Christmas Charity Raffle

This year we will be running our Christmas raffle to raise money for a local charity “Countryside Enterprises CIC”. This is a scheme ran by adults with disabilities. The scheme provides the opportunity for adults with disabilities to gain new skills and experience to not only benefit themselves but the local community.

By purchasing a ticket you can win over £1000 worth of DIY & Household Items with proceeds being donated directly Countryside Enterprises CIC.

What Can I Win?
The winning prize consists of items we have donated from our store as well as from some of our generous suppliers. The items collective value is over £1000 and includes a whole range of items including:

  • DIY supplies
  • Tools
  • 2 x VIP Tickets including Hospitality to any British Superbikes Race 2025
  • Household items
  • Air fryer
  • Fuel bundle

Why Countryside Enterprises CIC?

Countryside Enterprises CIC is a scheme ran by adults with learning disabilities. They run lots of small enterprises that benefit both those involved and the local community. The enterprises provide an opportunity for adults with learning disabilities to practice work skills, gain experience, and to earn a share of any profits. But most importantly, it’s an opportunity to work in a safe and supported environment.

Current enterprises include a contract gardening service, a car washing service, fruit and vegetable growing, rural crafts, woodwork, a jam and chutney making group, and a cake baking group - these hand made products are all sold in their farm shop, and the amazing cakes are served in their takeaway café - ‘The Coffee Hatch’ at Six Acre Nurseries in Costock.

Since they began in 2016, they have grown year on year with the help of grants and support from our local community, they have expanded the enterprises run and the services they offer. Many of the adults they supported have progressed onto paid work or voluntary placements elsewhere as a result of this.

What will our money do?

The money raised will provide the opportunity to support existing schemes as well as the workmates to choose to pursue new schemes.

How Do I enter?

The raffle will run from November 15th to December 23rd and to enter all you need to do is buy a £1 raffle ticket either in store or here.

If you buy in store you will be given a physical ticket.

If you buy through our website then we will email you over your ticket number.

There are 2 ways on our website you can buy a ticket. Either at the checkout with any other purchase or here.

How do I collect my winnings?

The lucky winner will be contacted on the 23rd of December with the great news! If you are local to our shop then you can come down to collect the winnings or we can deliver them to you. If you’re not local then we will arrange for the items to be posted to you.
